What we collect
This site runs without advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. The only personal data it handles is what you type into an enquiry form: typically your name, email address, phone number (optional) and the details of your enquiry. The free tools (car check, calculators, comparison) run on the data you enter for the moment only — we do not build a database of registrations you have looked up.
Why we use it, and for how long
Enquiry details are used solely to answer your enquiry and to keep a record of the conversation. They are not added to marketing lists and are not sold or shared with third parties. Enquiry records are kept only as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any follow-up — retention periods will be confirmed by the owner before launch.
Where it goes
Form submissions are processed by this website and delivered to the business’s authorised inbox. The car-check tool passes your registration number to official DVLA/DVSA services (via this site’s server) to retrieve the report you asked for; it is used for that purpose only. No other data leaves the site.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of the personal data held about you, ask for corrections, or ask for erasure, by writing to the contact address on this site once published. This notice is a draft: the data controller identity, contact details and retention periods will be completed by the owner before the site processes live enquiries.
Changes
Any change to this notice will be published on this page with a new effective date.
